Based in Karratha, Western Australia, The Crafty Seamstress specialises in Bridal and Eveningwear Alterations, as well as custom dressmaking and private sewing lessons.

I’m Anastasia — a third-generation seamstress with over 20 years of experience, carrying on a legacy that began with my grandmother, Amparo Valbuena, in the Philippines. With an Advanced Diploma in Fashion & Textile Design from North Metropolitan TAFE (2016) and a Bachelor of Fashion Design from Auckland University of Technology (2018), I bring both technical expertise and an eye for detail to every garment I work on.
Previously based in Perth, I was trusted by many brides and eveningwear clients for tailored alterations and quality craftsmanship. I’m now delighted to offer the same care and expertise to the Pilbara community — ensuring every garment I work on fits beautifully and feels just right.
